She has been instrumental in growing Raven’s international business, deepening the focus on digital solutions, and strengthening Raven’s passion for creating customer value.

Waltner is a proven business leader who has tackled challenges and tough situations in roles from technical to operational to sales and business. She is a driven, resilient, and results-oriented leader who enables teams to work together, increase results and grow the business.  She excels in times of change and uncertainty, providing calm and clear leadership that allows teams to focus on the critical few areas that matter and drive the business forward in a positive and cohesive way.

North American Lead, Marketing and Business Development

Boomer Cardinale has over 20 years of experience as a top-level global marketing, strategy, and food value chain thought leader. Boomer has managed teams, product portfolios, brand strategies and key accounts across several companies in the agriculture space.

Boomer is currently North American lead for marketing and business development at DECCO, the post-harvest business unit of agchem giant UPL Ltd. Prior to joining UPL, Boomer managed the global bioinsecticide, greenhouse and nursery product portfolios at BASF after successfully directing the marketing efforts for the biocontrol products at Novozymes BioAg.

Boomer has an undergrad degree in communications at Texas A&M University. In addition, Boomer earned a Master of Science degree in agriculture economics at Purdue University while completing his MBA from Indiana University. Living in Raleigh, NC for over eight years, Boomer enjoys the great outdoors with his wife and two daughters.

Ben Craker

Ben Craker currently serves as Portfolio Manager at AgGateway, a global non-profit organization supported by nearly 200 member companies from every sector of the agriculture industry. Ben coordinates the activities of AgGateway members in the development of standards and digital resources that aim to solve interoperability challenges for agriculture and related industries. Prior to joining the AgGateway staff he spent nearly two decades in the farm equipment manufacturing industry, in positions ranging from marketing and sales to technology product management.

Ben grew up on a farm in south central Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Throughout his career he has been committed to taking a collaborative approach to address some of the most difficult issues facing agriculture through membership in a variety of organizations, including the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the Agriculture Industry Electronics Foundation, and the Agricultural Data Coalition, in addition to extensive volunteer work at AgGateway.

Jeremy Pafford

Jeremy Pafford

Head of North America for Market Development

 

As Head of North America for Market Development, Jeremy Pafford drives Independent Commodity Intelligence Services’ (ICIS) business development strategy for the U.S., Mexico, and Canada and represents ICIS to chemical, polymer, and fertilizer markets to showcase the company’s expertise. His role draws upon his experience in leading engagement efforts by the Americas team over the last several years.

Previously, Jeremy served as Managing Editor, Americas for ICIS, leading the team analysing Americas raw material markets such as fuels, petrochemicals, and oleochemicals. Jeremy has covered several markets himself and has authored research and presented at major events on topics such as the North American shale energy boom, U.S.-China trade tensions and how macroeconomic trends translate into raw material market trends.

A native of Texas and a resident of the Houston suburb of Cypress, the University of Kansas graduate has been with ICIS since 2013 and has worked in the publishing field for more than two decades.

Mr. Krieg grew up on a farm in Iowa and spent more than 25 years in the agricultural industry. Most recently, Mr. Krieg was Operations Manager for Channel Sales and Support for AgDNA, a CNH industrial company. Prior to that, he served in various business development, strategy, information solutions, and project management roles at Deere and Co. over a 24-year career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electro-mechanical systems from the University of Northern Iowa, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a certificate in artificial intelligence from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Richard Jones

Jones has more than two decades of experience covering commercial agriculture, with much of that time focused on Meister Media Worldwide’s horticulture brands in the fruit, vegetable, greenhouse ornamental, and garden retail markets. As Corporate Content Director he oversees content strategy and execution for Meister’s print, digital, and event properties in the U.S. and worldwide. He has a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.

Craig Jorgensen

Craig Jorgensen is the National Accounts Manager for application equipment at AGCO Corporation, a position he has held since July of 2021. Craig joined Ag-Chem Equipment in 1995 and then transitioned to AGCO Corporation when they purchased Ag-Chem Equipment in 2001.  Craig has held a variety of positions during his time at AGCO Corporation including Industrial Sales, Business Development Specialist, Senior Product Specialist, Field Execution Manager and now National Accounts Manager. Craig did spend the early part of his career as an agronomy department manager at a retailer in Iowa. Craig graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS degree in Ag Business.

Alexander Reichert is co-founder and CEO of AgVend, the leading provider of digital enablement solutions for agribusiness. AgVend’s mission is to constructively work with leading ag retailers to build a more efficient, resilient, and dynamic supply chain.

Prior to starting AgVend, Alexander was the VP of Product at Mavrx, an agricultural aerial imagery company, heading the product management, marketing, and support teams.

Before joining Mavrx, Alexander led product for Euclid where he worked with Fortune 500 traditional retailers and commercial banks to create an omnichannel experience for their customers. Alexander received a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.

A native New Englander, Alexander now resides with his wife Briana in Austin, Texas.

Doug Grott

Doug embarked into his career in agriculture after finishing his Ag-Business degree from Arizona State University. Once completing his degree in 2003 he moved to the Willamette Valley in Western Oregon to begin his tenure with Wilbur-Ellis Co. While not coming from a farming family Doug’s first role as an agronomist gave him a first-rate education in farming and agriculture through the farmers and community, he worked in.

Doug took that education and those experiences to grow professionally within Wilbur-Ellis. Before moving into his current role as the Director of Digital Technology, he held Business Development roles in both a regional and national capacity and prior to that he managed two full-service retail locations in the Willamette Valley.

As the Director of Digital Technology for Wilbur-Ellis Co., Doug’s role encompasses a few key areas of focus. Those areas are, supporting and leading the software development group, Field Technology teams and Wilbur Ellis’s water management business Probe Schedule.

Living in Mesa Arizona, the weather provides Doug the perfect climate to enjoy running, cycling and adventuring with his 4 kids.

Mariah Murphy is currently serving as the Director of Retailer and Farmer Services for Truterra LLC. Growing up in Missouri on the family farm her passion for agriculture developed at a very young age. This inspired her to get 2 degrees from Northwest Missouri State University in Agronomy and Horticulture. She began working with Land O’ Lakes through the WinField United channel in 2013 where she was a District Sales Manager for seed. In 2018 she moved to the sustainability business within Land O’ Lakes known as Truterra LLC. She spent her first years there servicing the Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa regions before moving into her current role where she is leading the field. In her current role she is responsible for helping develop and create sustainability strategies for the Land O’ Lakes member owners and bring them new opportunities through ecosystem service markets such as carbon as well as develop and deliver stewardship opportunities through public/private funding channels. Mariah and her husband Mike reside in Missouri Valley, IA with their almost 3 year old son Wally.
